Game 2: URI vs. UConn

For Game 2 against the University of Rhode Island, we were able to send 50 great children and volunteers from Governor’s Prevention Partnership, thanks to your outward generosity.

The Governor’s Prevention Partnership connects organizations, communities and families to prevent substance abuse, underage drinking and violence among youth and promotes positive outcomes for all young people in Connecticut.

Although the idea of Husky Ticket Project was born from the inability to make it to home games, we were thrilled to be able to join them in person for the game. The temperature was in the high 70’s, but we had no idea the combined score would be as well…by the 3rd quarter!

“…everyone had a great time! Thank you again for the tickets and parking passes, (we) really appreciate it.”

Veronica T. DeLandro, Director of Community Engagement
